New Delhi, dated 14, December, 2016

G.S.R. 1134(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of sections 469 read with sections 230 to 233 and sections 235 to 240 of Companies act, 2013 (18 of 2013), the central Government hereby make the following rules, namely:-

1. Short Title and commencement. – (1) These rule may be called the Companies (Compromises, Arrangements and Amalgamations) Rule, 2016.

(2) They shall come into force with effect from 15th December, 2016.
